Well I've mentioned it a couple of times, but I've finally got my act together and decided today - Feb 1st - is the day to giveaway! I've "met" so many lovely people through blogging, both local & international friends and I'd love to share some sweetness. As a little token of appreciation for all your kind comments over the last 7 months, I'd like to give away a few of my favourite, gorgeous and inspiring magazines! I LOVE magazines, particularly wedding, flower and home/garden magazines... (too bad there isn't one super magazine that encompassed all those topics!)
Sunshine Coast Brides, Wedding Style Guide and Home Beautiful + a bonus wedding flower magazine
Just leave a comment over the next week (until 8th Feb) and tell me - what is your favourite flower and why?
It's so hard for me to choose just one - today I'll choose Sweet Pea... because they have such a delicate perfume and remind me of growing up in the country :) Ask me tomorrow and I'll say another flower for sure!

Please note: Alfie not included :)
I'm happy to post internationally of course, so anyone can enter!
Have a great week xo
P.S. All magazines are current issues and both Sunshine Coast Brides & Wedding Style Guide feature my wedding!

I love wedding magazines! I would love to win these! As i took flower classes i fell in love with the history of the Anemone flower! so i would say my favorite flower is theee Anemone. b/c the name anemone comes from a greek mythology wind flower and it also has a history in domestic medicine and remedys.
ReplyDeleteI WOULD LOVE TO WIN!!! :)
have a great week!
I to LOVE flowers~ being a wedding and event designer I work with many. hummm I would say the Peonies.. OH I just love spring time, with all the fresh scents in my studio and that a fav. Oh and your magazines would be put to great use too.. Tracy
ReplyDeletehmmm, it's a toss up between lily of the valley, especially the pale pink one, lilac and peony. But I think i'll go with "valley" as one of our local growers calls it.
ReplyDeleteYou know I am jonesing to see your wedding pictures in the magazines. And that's a fact!
Daisy- its a simple country elegance. They are so beautiful.

ReplyDeleteI love all flowers especially scented ones with pink and lilac tonings. Roses, freesias, sweet peas to name a few! Flissy.
ReplyDeletePeonies.. they are here such a short time.. make such a stunning presence in any room.. I simply LOVE peonies.. in any shade.. pinks, creamy.. aah Peonies! - regards Jean
ReplyDeleteMy favourite flower is the Sweet Pea for two reasons. One is the beauty of the flower, colour, form and perfume. Two because it always reminds of a very happy winter when my eldest daughter turned one and we had a bumper crop of Sweet Peas, you may have seen photos of her with them! Love you a bunch, your Mumsie xoxo
ReplyDeleteHello , hello, well I am very fickle when it comes to flowers as I love them all pretty much and my tastes are shaped by the seasons. So as it is almost spring here in Blighty I must say Paper White narcissus for scent, but oh, I adore the inky deep colour of anemones and their black feathery centres, oh and I love jasmine at this time of year too!Oh and pussy willow and catkins and cherry blossom.......oops rambling! ,ay I enter anyway?
ReplyDeleteYour blog is charming, I will be calling in often!

i adore flowers! being here is like walking through a garden. how beautiful is that. especially, as i watch the snow fall, outside my window.
ReplyDeleteps: hi alfie!

I love most but think that the peony wins, as it is everything all in one.
ReplyDeleteBon weekend,
